Deactivate Facebook Permanently
To Deactivate Your Account: Permanently
Deactivating your account does not fully erase it. When you deactivate your account, Facebook saves every one of your settings, photos, as well as information in case you determine to reactivate your account. Your information isn't gone-- it's simply hidden. However, it is feasible to delete your account permanently without choice for recuperation.
NOTE: You must only do this if you are absolutely sure you want to completely delete your Facebook account.
To delete your Facebook account, follow this web link to the Delete My Account web page. If you 'd like to save images and also blog posts from your account, click Download Info. Then click Delete Account.
To Deactivate Your Account: Temporarily (If you change your mind).
1. Click the drop-down arrowhead on the toolbar, then choose Setups.
2. The Setups page will appear. Click Manage Account.
3. Click Deactivate your account.
4. Select a factor for deactivating the account. If you want, you can add more information in the text box below. When you're done, click Deactivate.
5. Select Deactivate Currently.
6. Your account is currently shut off. You'll have the option to reactivate your account at any time by signing in to Facebook with your old account details.
