Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
How To Permanently Delete Messages From Facebook
Step 1. Click the "Messages" icon on your Facebook homepage. The Messages icon is located in the top left edge and also resembles 2 small overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the discussion having the message or messages you wish to remove. If it is not noted on the first Messages pop-up window, click "See All" to see every one of your exclusive messages. Click the discussion on that list containing the message you wish to delete.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and after that click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes located beside the messages you wish to delete.
Click "Delete" and afterwards click "Delete Messages" to confirm that you want to erase the picked messages.
Suggestion
To remove an entire conversation as opposed to private messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions menu in the third step.
Warning
Removing an exclusive message in your Messages inbox does not remove it from the inbox of your conversation partner.
